Taylor Alexander

Biography

Taylor Alexander is a singer-songwriter from Cincinnati, OH. Named after legendary artist James Taylor, this new young songster seems to have his work cut out for him. He released two EP's in as many years and has plans for a third release in April 2014. Taylor's first EP, a slef titled, electric guitar driven record has an evolutionary sound. It begins with a rather "in your face" rock tune "Feel the Pain" to end with a sweet heart warming ballad "You Without My Heart," with varying degrees in bewteen. His second EP, released in November 2013 is a three track acoustic driven record entitled "Art." Taylor continues to show promise with strong vocal ablity and foundation guitar prowess. The shiniest faccet however, is his songwriting.  Alexander made his festival debut in large fashion by playing Cincinnati's Bunbury Music Festival last summer. His newest EP scheduled for release in April is sure to show yet another side of this young talented musician with the title track being written and performed entirely in French. Keep an eye and an ear out for "Bleu."
